What Is FromLight?

FromLight is a cooperative multiplayer episodic game with native PC and VR crossplay, bringing a top-quality narrative role-playing game experience to modern players regardless of what platform they own. Taking our cues from tabletop gaming, but leaning into the action, excitement, and immersion of first person and VR games, we aim to redefine how you look at interactive entertainment.
You are a nobody, captured and indentured for a debt that may or may not be yours. Once you escape, you don't find freedom, but rather you find yourself in the midst of a conflict where your actions just may alter the balance.
Your friends, comrades, and the nature of what is good or evil may just hinge on decisions you choose to, or not to make. Are you ready for an adventure?

No Location is Ordinary
Every site is made with respect to a rich history and gameplay elements. There is no "one way" to solve problems, though some solutions may be more difficult to find than other. Savvy adventurers, those with their wits about them, will reap the rewards of their attention.
Deliberate and Dangerous
Combat in FromLight matches your playstyle. You want stealth? Archery? To become the animalistic barbarian? The gallant knight? Or is magic more your thing? From wizards, warlocks, and priests, you can define how you wish to play, whether you are in VR or not...
Choices that Actually Matter
The choices you and your companions make will affect the story, determining which of your comrades in arms live, and which perish in the fires of a war fought in brutal terrain. Filled with environmental storytelling, you will experience but one sliver of the potential Tir Eriad has to offer.
From Platform to Story... And Beyond
We are developing this as much more than a game. The tools that enable our ability to deliver content will then be released to the community. Your stories come to life. Additionally, we are leveraging cutting-edge animation tools to enable our "4+1" gameplay, you can be the gamemaster or player.

Defenders of an embattled kingdom
The Kingdom of Rhentair's roots stem back to ancient times, when they found independence by a stroke of luck and the light of the moon. Nowadays, beset seemingly on all sides by enemies who won't die, they fight a bitter war to keep their way of life.
The Errderrni Invasion
The ends justify the means
Refugees from a far-off land, the Errderrni have been brutalized by the Rhentairi in the past. Now, fortified by a strange dark power, they seek to right previous wrongs, and are willing to accomplish their goals by any means necessary.
The Iron Spears
Mercenaries at the front lines of combat
Employed by the Errderrni, the Iron Spears are a veteran outfit from many wars across the continent. Gathering warriors from all around, they are in danger of being used as fodder or worse in the escalating war.
